State Swim meet

Well Thad did well at the state swim meet. He came in 8th in 100 IM for 11-12 boys...which is not too shabby. We were talking about what he needs to work on and he is determined to improve. I am proud of him and all the others for doing well. We had a number of kids place at district. Three including Thad placed at state.  I enjoyed seeing him do well...and look forward to seeing him do more in the future.

2013 ATAC LC Swim meet...

Spent this last weekend helping run the 2013 ATAC LC swim meet in Tallahassee, Fl. Had a great time working with a good group of officials. Had 400 kids in the waters swimming. Had some rain delays...but overall things went smoothly. Hope to work it again next year...

Monday and more...

Today has been a Monday...well last Thursday should count too since I slammed my fingers in the door that day. The weekend was good though. State Swim meet, Trip by kids and wife to Wild Adventures, Trip Sunday to Mexico Beach. Need to go home and cut grass and train karate. Wife is down 49 pounds last Thursday. Not home this weekend to weigh...hope she has broken the 50 pound hurdle....that would be exciting. ONLY about 20 more to go. Proud of her and all she has done.

Overall a good weekend and a good start to a new one.

Swimming...just keep swiming

Sorry no post last couple days. We had a swim meet here in Bainbridge at the City Pool. I am still exhausted. What started out nice, turned very sour. Our computer went bonkers and deleted a whole team. So we had to manually add them back. Fun, except that on the computer the people order didn't match the heat sheets and everything had to be manually checked. We got through it, made some mistakes and had to fix them, but we survived. This was the first time I have ever done a meet by myself, I hope the next one goes smoother or I won't have any hair left.

Waiting on board parts for the 18 watter...hopefully the little brown sata will come see me soon.
